What We Do
Dockage and moorings in season; hauling, storage, and shop work the rest of the year.

We handle inboard and outboard engine service, repowers, fuel systems, and drivetrain work. Certified Yanmar dealer with certified Yanmar technicians, servicing a wide range of inboard and diesel-powered boats.
Engine & mechanical work
Fiberglass repair, delamination, recoring, structural reconstruction, and carpentry are handled in-house by our dedicated shipwright and fiberglass specialist.
Shipwright & structural work
We can handle larger projects, including mechanical, structural, and finish work. Everything is coordinated in-house by our experienced team, ensuring each phase of the project receives the attention it deserves. From targeted upgrades to comprehensive restorations, we bring the craftsmanship, expertise, and attention to detail needed to keep your vessel performing and looking its best.
Refits & restorations
We offer spring commissioning and fall decommissioning. Engines, water systems, and fuel systems are winterized properly to protect against freeze damage and off-season wear. In the spring, systems are brought back online and checked before launch.
Seasonal service
Our boatyard waterfront offers 110 protected slips and 18 moorings on the Pawcatuck River, with full marina amenities. Downriver in Watch Hill Harbor, we manage and operate the public docks — an additional 23 seasonal and transient slips for boats up to 110 feet.
Slips, moorings & dockage
Winter storage is provided to our customers at two locations: our waterfront boatyard and our nearby 5-acre facility and 22,000 square foot climate-controlled building conveniently located by Westerly Airport.

Winter & Off-Season
Beyond the waterfront, the yard operates a nearby five-acre facility by Westerly Airport — with heated inside storage in a 22,000-square-foot climate-controlled building and secure gated outdoor storage for boats and trailers.

Watch Hill

Watch Hill dockage is booked separately from Frank Hall Boat Yard dockage.
The yard is the exclusive manufacturer and dealer of the Watch Hill 15 — a 24′6″ open-cockpit fiberglass reproduction of the Herreshoff design that has raced at Watch Hill Yacht Club since the 1920s.
